  1. I have not been, but have been very curious to try it since they brought in a new chef who most recently came from ESK and has put together an interesting, South American-accented menu. It has gotten some recent raves on this board, too.

    1. Absolutely. I've been twice--several months apart--and had excellent experiences both times. Very good and attentive service, cute room that makes the most of limited space without feeling too cramped (be careful going to the restroom--one has to go through the kitchen and down a steep flight of stairs to the basement), and good food (especially given the price point).

It will be interesting to see what the new chef does to the menu, as it has had French and South American flavors since it opened. I believe the new chef was already installed by time of my second visit a few weeks ago, as there was a raw bar selection that had not existed previously. The rest of the menu remains very similar to the one it had when it opened, with selections such as the Steak Argentina, crepes, and ceviche.

Having only been twice, I cannot speak to many of the items on the menu. But a DC had the Steak and really enjoyed it, and I had a fish dish the first time (though I forget exactly what it was as it wasn't the Bass currently on the menu) and the Moqueca during my last visit. Both excellent.

I had the Moqueca on my last visit and enjoyed it very much. My DC had the chicken and wasn't offering to share so I know it was good.

While the food is unexpectedly great, the service might be the real reason I keep returning. It couldn't be more friendly or helpful.
