I'm not an expert on local olive oils but I like BR Cohn's - but it's pricy they are about 20mins drive south of Santa Rosa near Glen Ellen

If you make it to Glen Ellen there is the Figone olive oil tasting room and a great cheese store just a few feet away.

Place didn't seem to be working so I threw in BR Cohn info as a lagniappe.
P.S. The ride from the Santa Rosa area, Crane Melon Barn, to Glen Ellen by back country roads isn't terribly long and with wine country scenery was quite pleasant.

DaVero in Healdsburg makes wonderful estate-grown olive oils. They only sell at farmers' markets or on-line. They are at the Santa Rosa market and at the Saturday Healdsburg market (9:00-1:00, I think) near the square. They also sell very good jams, vinegars, honey and wine. I particularly like their meyer lemon infused extra virgin olive oil. Their plain extra virgin is also great.

If you bring a bottle, you can fill it with daVero's bulk oil at the farmers market.

One year we had a local olive oil tasting at the Chowing with the Hounds picnic. You can find more details for this year's event on Oct 3 and how to sign up here,

Preston winery makes their own and sells at the winery. It is very good....they also bake great bread in their wood burning stove. The drive is beautiful and about 10-15 min from Healdsburg with a lot of tasting rooms on the way.
