Wanted to know what the options are for lunch while at the courthouse. Salads or a nice lobster roll would be appreciated.

Thanks!

The Dolphin in town is very good (mainly seafood) and there's also the Barnstable Restaurant & Tavern directly across the street from the courthouse. There's also a seafood shack lat the harbor/marina called Millway Fish & Lobster which is excellent.

Dolphin is pretty good and I'm pretty sure they do a lobster roll at lunch. Barnstable Tavern is horrible and to be avoided. The Millway Fish and Lobster (with chef Ralph at the helm) was terrific, but is now just okay and called the Osterville Fish ll. Not sure they;ll be open for lunch these cool days though since there is no inside dining. I believe Mattakese Wharf Resaturant at the harbor will still be doing lunch until Columbus Day. You should be able get a decent lobster roll, albeit pricey.
