Birthday, casual in Balto

pollyprincess Sep 16, 2009 01:58 PM

Looking for ideas for a birthday dinner in Baltimore. Probably 8 people and we're looking for good/decent food and not expensive. preferably downtown so we can stop someplace close by and have a few drinks. We did Lemongrass last year and that was fun, so what to do this year?
Thanks in advance,

Consider the Waterfront in Fells Point.

I know you are looking downtown, but Annabel Lee Tavern has great food and you can't beat their prices. Jack's Bistro is great, a little higher price point , but they accept reservations for parties of 6 or more and they are walking distance to canton square.

What about Mezze in Fell's Point? You can have fun ordering all types of tapas, and the restaurant seems to handle pretty big groups well. Sobo Cafe is also fun if you want to go to Federal Hill.
