sweet tamales at Sandra & Lolita's?

I was intrigued by Prof. Salt and martyR's recent postings about tamales from S&L's, and finally decided to make the trek out there tomorrow.

I will definitely order the savory tamales (especially the green chile ones), but was wondering if they have the sweet holiday tamales there too?

And one last question.... do you think they'll be open at 6am tomorrow (Xmas eve) too?

TIA.

Don't know if they are open at 6:00 everyday and I did not see a sign about special holiday tamales, but that doesn't mean they don't have them. Give em a call, they are very nice people.

    2. Sweet tamales are offered throughout the year. In my experience, it's one of the things they run out of by early afternoon.

Also - S&L's offers cold tamales, which I assume means they're fully cooked, cooled, & ready for your freezer. I *don't* think "cold" means they're prepped & uncooked, but I don't speak from experience. They run out of these too, so I've never been able to get & compare them to those hot out of the steamer.
