Sushi kanesaka lunch set

HI i am planning to lunch in sushi Kanesaka in mid October. Will it make a difference in terms of price between weekday or weekend? will the JPY 5k/10k lunch set be available during weekend? Appreciate help.

The lunch on Saturday`s at 5,000-10,000 yens, I will recommend the Sushi BENTENYAMA at Asakusa. The counter is small, is better to do reservation one hour or 2 hours before. If you do not appreciate wasabi and a strong taste, tell him.

The Sushi KANESAKA, 2 star Michelin, does have a lunch set menu at 5,000.-yens : 9 nigiri + 1 maki.
On Week Ends ????
In ordering supplement, you will easily exceed the 10,000.-yens.

I've had the 5,000 yen set lunch. Nothing to write home about, especially at those prices. Maybe their more elaborate dinners are worth it, but that lunch certainly wasn't.

Do you have any recommendations for Kyoto. Will be there for a week . I had dinner at Kanesaka for around Y30,000 yen per person . Aged toro is very good .Portions are small though.
