PHX - Business dinner appropriate around Central and Thomas

Hi all
Hubby has to set up a business dinner next week . As the other party is not local to Phoenix husband has been asked to make arrangements for a place for "a nice dinner" somewhat local to Central and Thomas.

I guess I'm overwhelmed with school because the only thing I'm coming up with is Durants. Help me remember what else is in the not so far away vicinity? i know there's other options and I"m drawing a complete blank...

While I do like Durant's, Coronado Cafe is an excellent choice as well.

      There is also Sophies Bistro.
I'm not sure if 24th st and Osborn is a little too far from where you want to be.

Thanks for the suggestion, Seth. I'll show the menu to hubby.

the person he is meeting for dinner will have a car available to him so it doesn't have to be in the immediate vicinity. Nearby is good though. We haven't been to District ourselves...would this be a good option for a business dinner? Anyone been there lately?

Perhaps Alexi's Grill might suffice. It isn't the best restaurant, but they do a good job of providing a "business atmosphere" and menu that pleases most appetites. I work a stone's throw from there and we always set up client luncheons there for "business discussion."
