Assuming you mean CDG airport, there's a decent Brasserie Flo at 2F. That said, A 2h delay probably won't leave you much time, especially if you have to change terminal. Most likely you'll have time for sandwich and pastry from one of the Paul stands, one of the best options available in CDG.

It depends what terminal you're in and/or connecting to. If it's one of the 2's, Flo is it but I'm less enthusiatic than Soup is, it's the poorest of the Group Flo.

It is. It's also the best option in CDG2 save the Sheraton (and Paul, and McDonalds of course)

It's interesting to me as a journalist who writes about airport terminals that CDG doesn't have a better selection of food to choose from. Is there a terminal there that does have an excellent offering as befits the city it's so close to??

I agree, as Soup says the Sheraton is there too and the guidebooks rate it well but I've never had a layover at the right time to eat there.

As a frequent business traveller through both CDG and Heathrow (both domestic and international) I think I understand why. At CDG you can get through security and to the gate quite quickly compared to Heathrow, I found I cut the transit time quite short in CDG (esp if you know where the short security queues are) so less hanging around for a plane.

That said, give me "Paul" (bakery) anytime over an equivalent UK high street chain - it isn't the best in Paris but it is far better than many.

Does the recently reopened "E" (I think) not have a few interesting options, very slick modern looking cafes. Possibly more Italian than French though

Well, get me Burger King anytime over anything in CDG, but that's another matter.

2E has nothing good, no. Actually, the place that has good restaurants, strangely, is Orly.

Well for my 3 hour delay at this airport after listening to all your suggestions the spot we dined at was:

Brasserie Flo at 2F

First off I couldn't believe how expensive it was but we gave it a shot, over average place for food but if I was at this airport again I would try somewhere else. I did notice a spot for asian fusion food & fish which I would of prefered. Now on to what we had:

I started with the fish soup which was o.k.

My main dish was lamb shanks with frittes (french fries)

My friend ordered the skirt steak with mashed potatoes.

Thank you,
