Breakfast before the Dodger game on Wednesday?

Going to the Dodger game on Wednesday (12:10 start) and looking for a decent breakfast in the area that also serves up some Bloody Mary's........... any suggestions??

  1. I would think any of the hotels would work. Checkers, the Omni and the Standard come to mind.

    1. Phillippe's is where a lot of the Dodger pregame crowd goes to eat most any day. The breakfast scene there is pretty good. No bloody Mary's though.

      1. The Pacific Dining Car is the go-to, hearty breakfast and stiff bloody mary destination in downtown L.A. It's open 24-7, which is irrelevant unless you are planning on getting a REALLY early start for the game.

        1. Plenty of good breakfasts in the Echo Park/Silverlake direction. It's the Bloody Mary that's harder to find, especially on a Wednesday.

Depending on which direction you're coming from, and/or how close to the stadium you want to be...the newer HOME location on Riverside Drive has a full bar and very decent breakfasts. And it's probably only about 2 miles down Riverside to the back of the stadium.
