Just came from Cravings on North State Road in Briarcliff serving Frozen Yogurt with all the toppings, custom tossed salad, sandwiches and great Hale & Hearty Soups. Also have good desserts and gift items. Check it out.

Sounds like a welcome addition to the neighborhood--where on North State Road is it, pray tell?

It's at 549 North State Rd in Briarcliff, across the street from Terra Rustica. The soup smelled delicious when I was there, but we only got frozen yogurt. I need to go back to try it! Just beware there's not a lot of seating.

Just had a delicious Hale & Hearty soup--wild mushroom and barley. Came with a piece of bread--choice of cheese or everything, I chose cheese. Looks like they have a choice of two soups every day, plus, as pointed out, custom tossed salads, sandwiches and frozen yogurt. Good place to get a quick, healthy (albeit expensive) lunch to go!

Definitely a nice addition to the area. I went this past Saturday and enjoyed a nice salad, along with a delicious Hale & Hearty carrot soup. It looks like the owner puts a lot of effort into the fresh baked goods, etc. We had this roasted vegetable tart that was delicious! Hot out of the oven. 2 salads, a soup, and the veggie tart all for $22 - so very reasonably priced too.

Stopped in Saturday with the wife and boys (5 and 7). They each had grilled cheese and my youngest is VERY picky about his grilled cheese. He ate 1/2 his sandwich which is a big win. I ate the rest and it was on grilled sourdough panini bread which was excellent. Wife had a custom salad which she enjoyed and I ordered a tuscan bread grilled eggplant panini special. Very tasty...but next time I'm adding chicken (I have a hard time eating solely veggie dishes when famished). Overall an excellent albeit tiny place with a very engaging and appreciative owner.

I got some mini cupcakes (and a whoopie pie) yesterday which were very good--moist cake, not too sweet, with rich buttercream frosting. All baking is done on the premises.
