Seems like so basic a sandwich that any stand with a grill could do it. Are there any clear standouts?
Just came back from Fasullo's on the S/W/C/O Grand and Mulberry. They do the sausage over the coals and have a pan full of roasted hot and sweet peppers to add to your sandwich.
The problem is that at San Gennaro there are no stands that do anything well. There have been lots of posts the last few days about the awful food at the Feast.
If it's the same guys that work the fair circuit, none of the food is good. Any fair I have been to up here has nothing but bad food for the most part.
