BEST TORTILLA'S EVER!!! [moved from LA board]

Well maybe not ever, but super delicious!!! I wanted to make chicken taco's yesterday. So I went to Sprouts and picked up some tortillas. It is just me and the Hubby now, so I didn't want a dozen shells. Sitting amongst the tortillas was a package of 8, so I grabbed it. La Tortilla Factory Hand Made Style Corn Tortillas. "A Unique Blend of Corn and Wheat" , White Corn, Soft, Flexable & Whole Grain. These were delicious, I just heated them up in a skillet and filled with chicken, avocado, tomatoes, and onions. SUBLIME texture, didn't break apart, smallish, GREAT flavor. Just thought I would let you know.

Corn and wheat? This sounds like something Taco Bell would source. I couldn't find this description on the web site.

BTW this company's products are strongly targeted at the vegetarian/vegan market by emphasizing 'low fat, low carb, whole grain, no shortening, EVOO'. Traditional, my a**.

These tortillas did look like the ones on the video, minus the flowers. The thickness and color are pretty close, as well as size.
