the wharf

I am showing relatives around SF tomorrow. They want to eat lunch around the wharf. Help? Thanks.

    Scoma's
Totally not worth the $$ for dinner, but their prix-fixe lunch is a good deal. If the catch-of-the-day is petrale sole, don't miss it.

Agreed that the a la carte menu is bad QPV, but they now have a 3-course prix fixe dinner for $40, which isn't bad. The lunch (now $24) is still the better bargain, especially when they're getting the fish from their own boats. Doesn't get fresher than that.
