Which do you recommend Burger Bar or BLT Burger?

Personally, I thought the base burgers were vert good and comparable at both places. BLT Burger has much better people watching and I liked the atmosphere more. FYI a couple of weeks ago you could shoot a cannon through most strip restaurants and not hit anyone. Both Burger Bar and BLT Burger were packed.

I agree with Poerz 100% on every point. The burgers at both are comparably very good (both quality and price). BLT has the edge with the people watching and maybe even the service. Service at Burger Bar the last 2 times I'be eaten there has been a bit of a turn-off. I'm hoping management reads enough of these comments to take notice of that.

I thought Burger Bar was very good, but wasn't impressed by BLT. Here's what I wrote at the time:
"I ordered a standard hamburger (The Classic) with Swiss cheese and an egg. Served medium, it came with lettuce, tomato, onion and the like. It was large, but not as juicy as it should be - perhaps it was too thin, perhaps the cook was too heavy handed with the spatula - and the flavor wasn't on a par with the better burgers in town."

I referred to the spatula, above, because I noticed the cook pressing the hamburgers on the grill. I don't know if all cooks at BLT do this, but I've since read another comment about this practice.

Has Burger Bar improved lately? When we would go a few years back, it was great, but declined after that. Has it improved again? I did like it before, but somehow was turned off the last time we went (service was not that great).

I've eaten at BB several times very recently and each time the food was terrific. Had the Angus burger twice, and Kobe once. The burgers were cooked exactly as ordered and the sides (sweet potato fries, onion rings, fried zucchini) were very fine. The service was the problem 2 out of the 3 times. Very slow and almost bordering on rude. And we dined there when the restaurant was less than half full so they weren't slammed. We truely like the burgers enough to keep returning hoping the service issue has been addressed.

I was at Burger Bar on the 19th, and it was superb.

Skip both a head to Bradley Ogden. The steakburger in the lounge is better than both Burger Bar and BLT.

I agree with that! I went to Bradley Ogden the other night after trying Burger Bar the other week. Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had, good flavour in the beef and really simply presented with just cheese and condiments on the side. Burger Bar was really good also, but Bradley Ogden stands out.
