Greek eats in Grand Rapids

I'm frequently in Grand Rapids, and wondered if there are any good Greek restaurants in GR. I know there are a couple of restaurants with Middle Eastern food -- i.e., Marie Catribs -- but I'm really looking for Greek food. A grocery store carrying Greek items -- esp. Greek olive oil, olives, cheeses -- would be wonderful too. I have such easy access to Greek food here in the Chicago area, and would like to take my GR relatives out for Greek in GR. Being all from Chicago, it's something they miss.

You apparently haven't found G B Russo & Sons on 29th St. All kinds of ehtnic foods and a huge selection of olive oils. Lots of cheeses too.

I wish there was a Greek restaurant in GR. I haven't found one yet - only one that's been closed down. Grand River Grocery in Ada sells frozen Greek meals made by locals...called Greek To Go. http://greektogo.org/default.aspx

Isn't it odd that there isn't one, given that there are such vibrant Greek Town neighborhoods in the two closest large cities to GR?

It's just how the demographics shook out. GR never drew in big groups of southern European immigrants like Chicago and Detroit did and ended up with the Dutch instead.
