I'd recommend Big Jim's in the Run, in Greenfield just out of the city. It's a bit of a dive but the food is tremendous, and I really love their reuben. I can promise that you won't leave hungry! I've also heard that Fathead's in the South Side serves a really good reuben.

Mark's on Penn Avenue downtown makes a good reuben. A good lunch spot if you are downtown.

Big Jim's reuben is enough for lunch today and tomorrow. And it's good. But yeah, you're really talking no frills.

The eggplant parm is also, IMO, the best in the city. I have no idea how they serve that much food on one sandwich for so little.

Try Max's Allegheny Tavern on the North Side. They make a great reuben and you can get it on potato pancakes if you wish.
