every ethiopian restaurant that i know of in the city serves doro wat. don't have a good sense of who does the best version, though, since there's always been too much of a time lapse between restaurants for me to compare. meskerem's version is decent.

arirang has a lovely dakdori tang (korean chicken stew with potatoes... please forgive any crappy romanization... think it's also written taktori tang sometimes) on the menu, too.

If you're nearby I really like the coq au vin at Cafe du Soleil on the UWS.

Oh! I thought the menus at both locations were identical (based on absolutely nothing). I go to the Rivington St. one pretty frequently, and pretty much know the menu by heart.
