in search of the best chicken dish. love slow cooked chicken or stew.

any suggestions?

      the chicken caccitore at inoteca is really good.

          Ive only been to the third ave location and its on that menu

            Oh! I thought the menus at both locations were identical (based on absolutely nothing). I go to the Rivington St. one pretty frequently, and pretty much know the menu by heart.

          If you're nearby I really like the coq au vin at Cafe du Soleil on the UWS.

            every ethiopian restaurant that i know of in the city serves doro wat. don't have a good sense of who does the best version, though, since there's always been too much of a time lapse between restaurants for me to compare. meskerem's version is decent.

            arirang has a lovely dakdori tang (korean chicken stew with potatoes... please forgive any crappy romanization... think it's also written taktori tang sometimes) on the menu, too.
