Chinook Tavern - Boulder?

We loved the Chinook Tavern in Denver and was sad to hear that they closed. We heard that they opened a location in Boulder but I can't find any mention of it anywhere. Does it exist? Thanks.

The Georg family had promised to open a new Chinook Tavern in the Landmark development at I-25 and Belleview and they are still listed on the Landmark website but there hasn't been much progress evident.

Thanks for the update. We are going to be in Denver in October and were going to take a ride to Boulder to check out the area and have dinner at Chinook if they were open. Oh well, maybe next year.

I'm from Chicago. My son goes to school in Denver and I make it out there about twice a year. I'm not that familiar with the Denver area, this year I am planning to explore. I liked the Chinook Tavern so I thought I would try it again-and had read that they were moving to Boulder. Thanks for the link.

A caller to today's "Warren Byrne's Restaurant Show" also asked about the Chinook Tavern. Boulder wasn't mentioned, but the caller was under the impression that it was supposed to open at Landmark. Byrne said that the backers for Chinook's move had pulled out in the current economic climate. Byrne added that he didn't know whether the owners (the Georg family, I believe) were seeking other backers or were giving up.
