BEST FOOD BETWEEN LA AND CLAREMONT NEAR THE 210??
I am driving from Los angeles to claremont and looking for a place close to the freeway to stop for lunch. I know there are tons of hidden gems along that route. I already plan to go to Din Tai Fung for dinner... but is there anything else I could hit up for lunch?
Which way are you going? I mean, you're going to be in Arcadia for dinner. The 210 doesn't even go through the City of L.A. per se; Arcadia is 20-45 minutes from Claremont depending on the time of day, so, where exactly do you plan to be at lunchtime?
Not exactly a lunch destination, but certainly good...is the Donut Man in Glendora, located off the 210 freeway between Sunflower and Lone Hill. I'm not sure if peach season is over, yet...but the donuts filled with fresh peaches is divine!

I've been a fan of Thai Orchid Garden since college. They have moist volcano chicken (covered in some sort of liquor that's lit), good curries, good satay, an an excellent deep-fried breaded banana and coconut-ice-milk sundae.
