Julie's Recipe from Movie

Finally saw Julie and Julia last nite and was drueling over something Julie cooked before she started her blog...does anyone have a recipe for the sliced bread/tomato dish? She sauteed bread slices in olive oil til they were golden brown, and it looked like she topped it with some sort of bruschetta mixture, also sauteed, with fresh tomatoes, etc? Any ideas? Much obliged!
