Near Thunderbird and Tatum

Looking for dinner near Tbird and Tatum. Do not like Eden's Grill. A little disappointed lately in Nee House. Would go as far as Scottsdale Rd and Shea. Anyone know anything about the Thai restaurant that opened where Sabuddy used to be at Scottsdale and Shea? Any price point/any style of food.

I think this is the Thai place. I've had mixed results at the FLW/101 location. Some lemon fish thing I had was horrid, and I hesitate to go back.

Have had lunch twice @ Thai House on Shea. Both times I was pleased w/ food and service. I have had both the red and green curries, the thai basil chicken, the pad thai and the beef noodle salad. Everything is available from a 1-5 sice.... it has been great! The restaurant's decor hasnt changed much since Sabuddy, it's clean and modern......well worth the visit.

Sala Thai at Shea/32nd St is pretty good.

johnseberg is correct about Thai House. I've had good luck at their FLW/101 location, unlike him. I've been to the new one once and it was fine.

Some people really like Little Rangoon at Shea/70th St(ish). I thought it was "meh" but we may have ordered the wrong dishes.

Floyd's Kitchen at Cactus/Tatum was really good when we went last week. It surprised us how much we enjoyed our meal there.

If willing to drive to Scottsdale/Shea (which is ~5 miles from Thunderbird/Tatum), it might be just as easy to head over to Carolina's (on Cactus, slightly over 4 miles from Thunderbird/Tatum).

There's Pita Jungle at Scottsdale/Shea, as well as Centro Paninoteca (good option for paninis, wine). Also, if wanting another Thai option, there's Takeda Thai at the same cross streets. No experience with Takeda so can't attest to quality, but you can find a bit of feedback by searching the board--take from it what you will. Finally, Ristorante Giuseppe (Thunderbird/Scottsdale) is a good option if looking for italian.

You are not real far from Tutti Santi if you want really good Italian food. Small disclaimer, I haven't been there in a few years - but have never had a bad meal.

Pizza Picazzo on Cactus and Tatum is pretty solid. Yasu sushi is in the Target shopping center. Yes, it can get expensive, but it doesn't have to be. Kozy Kactus is next door. I've eaten here a few times--some things were pretty tasty, others didn't quite get there (the white bean dip, for one). Bombay Spice is on Tatum and Shea. I haven't been here, but have been meaning to stop by since it opened. My brother loves Saba's (Mediterranean) on Tatum and Bell, but I've never eaten here myself. Serrano's on Shea and 32nd (I think) has some pretty good Mexican seafood, though the standard stuff (burros, tostadas, etc.) is pretty lackluster. I actually totally forgot about Tutti Santi--I used to love that place, but haven't been in quite some time. If you're willing to go over to Scottsdale Road, there's a few things in Kierland on Greenway. If nothing else, there's always Olive Garden on Cactus and Paradise Village Parkway. ;)

How about Basis at 7th and Thunderbird? That was our favorite local goto place when we lived at Point Tap.

I live in the same area, I like going to Nick's on Tatum & Shea, I've been there twice and both times it was really good. I've been wanting to go back to check out their happy hour.
