I don't understand the issue about the BYOB policy. We went last week. We brought our own wine, they "decanted" it into a water bottle and served it for us. I love BYOB restaurants - saves a fortune. Food was very good. Not to die for, but good.

re: MMRuth
The State Liquor Authority has been cracking down on places allowing BYOB with pending license applications. In fact they have stated that it is grounds to deny the application.

havent been but their lack of a liquor license and very inappropriate byob policy keeps me from trying it. the menu seems rather boring and $25 entrees does not encourage me to take a try on the place.
apparently, they just got rejected for a basement liquor license last night. its a shame because the owners im sure just want to do well but i think this place will be doneski in short order.
i totally miss double happiness btw.

re: sam1
SO GLAD I read this post...We had reservations there for a couple of weeks from now, and this has deterred me from going. Thanks Sam.
