Armadillo on the Westside

Hello all-

My friend is from Uruguay where Armadillo is eaten every year in February. I searched the boards and only found it at the Hawaii Supermarket in San Gabriel. Does anyone know a place closer to the westside to get it? Any help would be great.

I don't. Maybe some of the Vietnamese markets in Orange County, possibly one of the Asian markets in the Cambodian community in Long Beach. But let us know how it's cooked. I'd be curious.
