I want to weigh in and say that after going 5 times, I have to say, the burgers are very good but that nothing else on their menu that I've tasted or that a friend has ordered have been any good at all. Stick with the burgers ar Burger Bar.

I only went there once, but I thought the "disco fries" were to die for. The dipping sauces for the fries were really good too.

I will try 'em. What's a "disco fry" though?

Have only tried the burgers (and fries) and agree they are great. My only complaint has been the service at times. Went there over the weekend and had to wait about 10 minutes for 1 of the 2 servers to even stop by with a menu and then even longer to get a drink order in - and it didn't seem too busy at all.

In a typical diner, disco fries are fries with cheese and gravy. At Burger Bar, they are fries with brie and truffle oil.

The Mac & Cheese is excellent...the right amount of topping and very flavorful cheese. I'm not high on their burger, but I have had the meatloaf melt several times and find it to be excellent

Been there twice. Service slow both times. First time the burger was excellent, had me eager to go back. Second time, burger and fries both cold, rubbery-next time will ask for a toasted bun. Nice, casual atmosphere, especially at bar for luch, w/ decent wines by the glass. Will give them another shot, but on a Monday (free fries w/ burger) or Wednesday ($10.00 prix fixe for a burger, fries, and mini salad combo). Otherwise, prices a bit high for what they're offering.

I have to agree with you and I've only been once but that was enough. Service was slow/ inattentive and the food took 40 minutes. When it finally arrived, the salad was ok but the fries were too salty and cold and the burger was undercooked. Not worth the price. I hear Five Guys is opening in Westport soon so will wait for that.
