Need some help from the chowhounds - 4 people going out - looking for a nice restaurant - ambiance and food - can be a small, intimate restaurant or a scene - about $50 to $75 per person - BUT one very picky eater!!! Basic shrimp - chicken - or veal dish has to be an option for that individual but the rest have not restrictions.

Acquagrill? They do excellent fresh fish that I would think a picky eater could eat.

Aquagrill is a great suggestion. I took my _very_ conservative in-laws there last year and they uniformly loved it. It even inspired my father-in-law to try (and enjoy!) oysters for the first time ever.

Balthazar has a very basic chicken paillard that should suit your picky eater (if he/she isn't thrown by the appearance of a salad on the side.) Great atmosphere.
