Cuisinart Chef's Classic cookware?

Hi all,

So there's a major deal on a 10-piece Cuisinart Classic cookware set right now, at Amazon for $105 (!!)

That sounds almost too good to be true, so I figured I'd check with this crowd before I buy it. Does anyone have any thoughts on this line? Isn't the price suspiciously cheap? It's normally $400. TIA for your input.

Shameless plug: I found out about this deal through my sister's awesome new website, Please visit!

  1. I have an older pieces of this cookware, and it is pretty decent. I've noticed prices dropping quite a bit lately. No idea why, but the downward trend is probably a bonus if you want to buy this cookware. The Multiclad Pro line does appear to be holding steady with respect to pricing. The Chef's Classic has been modified a little since I purchased mine, mostly handle changes.

Happy to share thoughts, not happy to read plugs, but you are at least honest enough to admit it's your sister's, I'm okay with it on some level.

      Thanks RGC...
It has 4.5 stars on Amazon, with 250+ reviews. So, I think I'm going to buy the set. If I don't I'll probably kick myself....

And, sorry about the plug. I'm agree with you in general, but it's my sis & it's a great site... anyway, thanks for weighing in!

    2. I have the Cuisinart CC Chef Pan which I love; this is a great one-pot meal. Its not included on the set but often apart of Amazon's 4-for-3 deal. I'll probably add the Cuisinart CC Multi-pot pan in the near feature; this appears to be slightly large than the Chef's Pan and has two side gripping handles as opposed to the standard handle. Both pots have pretty glowing reviews.
