Top ethnic eats in lower Westchester?

I am moving back to Westchester after 2 1/2 years on the coast of Maine. I am sure that lots of small ethnic places have opened in the Yonkers to White Plains area. Yonkers, Bronxville, Tuckahoe, Eastchester, Scarsdale, Hartsdale?

I know of Giuliana's Mexican deli on Kimball Ave and Mile Square rd. and like them.

What are other places I should know about. Thanks.

Small ethnic restaurants in Bronxville? I think you will find that there are none! Try nearby New Rochelle and as other posters have mentioned, Port Chester, which has the greatest concentration of small, interesting ethnic places in the area. Check the board and you will find many suggestions.

Haven't gotten to try it yet but very positive things here about Shiraz Persian restaurant in Elmsford.

I also heard Shiraz is good but have not checked it out yet. Another I recently heard about is the Portuguese restaurant in Hartsdale. I think it's called Porto? For thai, we like Red Lotus in New Rochelle. And Coromandel for Indian in New Rochelle.

South Broadway in Yonkers is a cornucopia of ethnic restaurants. Also look at Pt. Chester, lots of great places there. Welcome back.
