Chinatown

What's the best place for lunch in Chinatown?

    No accident that scoopG lists threads on Amazing 66 and Cantoon Garden first. For an unspecified Chinatown lunch recommendation, those would come first.

        scoop, I went back to East Corner Wonton the other day and had a good, very cheap lunch with my girlfriend. I found their Beef Stew Noodle Soup very good and preferred their Boy Choy with Oyster Sauce to Noodletown's, because the large stems were cooked through more, but my girlfriend's Chicken Congee was very soothing but too light on the chicken broth - Noodletown's congee is better.

        Anyway, it's a fantastic value. Do you have any particular favorites there?

            Why wouldn't you tip?

              Of course, unless you want to stiff the waiter for some reason. If you don't want to tip, get takeout; lots of people do that there.

          The type of restaurants in Chinatown are pretty diverse. Are you looking for anything particular such as;

          * dumplings or dim sum
          * roasted.barbecue meats
          * noodles
          * wonton soup or congee
          * rice plates
          * entree dishes
