Matsumoto review in NY Times -- anybody been there?

It's unusual when the NY Times reviews a restaurant in the vicinity of your home and you never heard of it, but today they did.

M.H. Reed reviewed the Asian fusion restaurant Matsumoto in Larchmont, which seems to really specialize in sushi and sashimi. Reed gave them a "satisfactory," and complained a good deal about the rolls unraveling and the menu not explaining the dishes in enough detail.

Has anybody ever been to Matsumoto? Is this place as stuck up in service and manners as Reed depicts it? How is the food and presentation? I looked it up on this board's search function and surprisingly, nothing came up!
