Sunday Lunch in Concord, MA

anais_in_waiting Sep 5, 2009 06:47 PM

I'm taking a zip trip from Boston to Concord, MA tomorrow, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for where I could have a great moderately priced lunch... either on the way to Concord, or in Concord. I've seen good reviews for Helen's Restaurant, but it sounds like a long wait might be an issue... I'll be on the clock, after all! Any thoughts?

It has been a long time since i've eaten here, but this place used to be pretty decent.

If you take 4/225 into Bedford, there's Cafe Luigi in the shopping center where Whole Foods is. They are owned by the folks from Jimmy's Steer house. There's a Thai Place across from Luigi's - no idea how it is. On the same side of the street, a little farther, is Ginger, which is Japanese. Continue a little farther and turn left onto Rte 62, following it 2-3 miles into Concord Center. Or, go through and beyond Concord Center, veer left at the fork (62 goes to the right), cross Rt. 2, and follow to Verrill Farm for a nice lunch on their picnic tables, and their just-picked corn and tomatoes.
