Bar Volo...how's the food?

I'm going there tonight for beer. But I looked at the food menu online and it looks pretty good, I mean for casual dining. Pizzas. Beer, pasta, etc. Can anyone tell me if it's good?
Can't help you on the real menu items - I have only gone after dinner. But I can endorse a cheese board to go with your beer.
I still think that place has an identity crisis that was summed up well when we complimented the music one night around midnight - "we're not an Italian restaurant anymore."
Bar Volo is one of the best places in the city for beer. And they hold the best beer festival. It should be sometime soon. As far as the food and service, don't expect much.
I'll echo what everyone else is saying. You go to Volo for the beer, wine, and patio. You don't gor for the food or service.
The food is generally good but nothing terribly special. However, the grilled calamari is the exception; it's probably one of my favorite in the city.
