Hi. Does anyone know where I can purchase fresh burdock root in Australia??

  1. If you have a market that specializes in Asian produce and groceries, try there. In NYC I can usually find it in the Asian produce stores.

        I'm in Canberra.

          It's called gobo in Japan where its very popular, so my suggestion would be to look for a Japanese grocer.

          My initial guess would be you'd probably have to head somewhere like Dickson and to an Asian supermarket but Canberra isn't my area of expertise :-)

            Ok I shall try Dickson. That is one place I have not had a look yet. I've tried other Asian supermarkets but they do not have fresh ones. In fact even the dried ones I found only in one Asian store here.

      2. North Lyneham shops (note - these are elsewhere from Lyneham shops) has a little veg store called Choko Bai Jo's. They may be a good contender after Dickson shops.
