Thanksgiving dinner San Diego

I'm going to San Diego from San Francisco to take my sister in law and 28 year old niece to thanksgiving dinner. They live in Point Loma. I'm looking for a place that has very good food and atmosphere. It can be upscale but does not necessarily need to be chic. Thanks for your suggestions.

Since your family lives in Point Loma, you should consider dining at Roseville if they are open for Thanksgiving. It fits your critiera nicely and is in the neighborhood.

Hotel Del Coronado does a lovely Thanksgiving dinner in the Crown Room.
Marine Room at the La Jolla Beach and Tennis club is really nice too..it has stunning views built right on the mean high tide.

Hornblower cruises has a really great dinner cruise. We did it a couple years ago, and are planning to to go again this year.

I would suggest one of the hotels specifically geared toward the California-Beach experience, like the Hotel Del or Loews.

These places will most likely have some type of special holiday dinner.
