Need Restaurant in Westwood Village
Going to the Geffen tomorrow and need a place for dinner -- moderate price. Going w a friend who is not a foodie. Would like to walk there.
On another note, if we decide to do sushi, can someone also give me suggestions for reasonable sushi on Sawtelle (we'll drive) or Westwood?
Thanks!

Thai House in the Village on Galey would serve you well. If you want to drive over to Sawtelle then Hide is a good choice or Place Yuu or even Kiriko would be good.

re: Silverlaker
We like a little Italian place just outside the Village south of Wilshire on Westwood Blvd. called Sprazzo. I'm especially fond of their gnocchi, but all their food is good

re: Servorg
I like Sprazzo too but it's not walking distance from the Geffen unless you want to walk across Wilshire. It's not in the Village.
Palomino is in the Village and while you won't rave about it, they have a large and varied menu, which includes a lot of pastas. There is a CPK on Broxton. Not exactly a trattoria, but I'm blanking on anything that isn't sort of chain inspired or fast food ish like pizza, falafels, noodles and banh mi or In and Out in the Village.
