Northfield to MSP Recommendation?
Dropping off my youngest kid at college (sob) in Northfield, and looking for a recommendation. We're having a special birthday, but are really just interested in some high-quality food (doesn't have to be super-fancy). We have a car and can go anywhere between Northfield and MSP, but think it might be fun to part of the cities. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

I went to college in Northfield. I left 3 years ago, but here are my recommendations:
Chapati : I'm not a fan of Indian food, but my friends would not stop raving saying it was the best they've ever had.
Fermentations (Dundas) : It was delicious, but expensive. And being the poor, college student that I was, I only got there once.
The Tavern: I'm a big fan of birthday breakfasts so I have to include this one.
