Just ate at The Black Olive just a few blocks south of The Social last weekend, at the rec of the great Orlando hounds on this board.
It was really, really good. Tableside ceasar was so complex and delicious, Fire grilled grape leaves filled melty chevre with an ouzo flambe was fantastic, and the diver scallops were also lovely. We had a fantastic experience. They charge a reasonable corkage fee: $15, so we brought a few bottles of excellent wine to enjoy with the great meal. Knowledgeable service had a perfect light touch.
We were well provisioned for dancing at the I Bar till 3am.
