Weekend Brunch/Lunch Woodland Hills/Encino/Sherman Oaks

Looking for somewhere to meet friends, from out of town, for brunch/lunch this weekend in the Woodland Hills/Encino/Sherman Oaks area. I thought maybe Whispers. Any other ideas?

I'm not sure what you are looking for in terms of price and cuisine, but there are several options in Sherman Oaks -- Hugo's, La Frite, and Cafe Bizou are all good options. I also like Marmalade's brunch.

I think a couple of the Indian restaurants in Encino and Tarzana have champagne brunches. I know Taj Mahal in Encino is supposed to have a good-sized brunch buffet.

If Salads or brunchish dishes seem appropriate, Stanley's on Ventura at Matilija in Sherman Oaks is very nice, has a superb patio out back, weather-permitting, meaning it will be warmish, yet umbrellas do shade out the direct sunlight.
