Tacocina--now a full service restaurant in Wappingers!

I thought Tacocina closed down a couple of months ago when it was next to Home Depot, but I was thrilled to see a Grand Opening sign for it in Corporate Park today. It's now a full service restaurant. I love their horchata and their chicken tacos.

I tried Tacocina tonight after reading hudsonvalleyfoodblog post. It was great. i had been to the one by los hornitos and tony's gyro once a while back and wasnt impressed, the new place is great, cant wait to go back and try everything else on the menu. I had the Spicy Pork, Tongue and Salty beef in that order. after i ate the spicy pork i said to myself "i shouldve gotten 3 of these". Then i ate the Tongue and said "i shouldve gotten 3 of THESE". the salty beef was good too.

Tamale and burrito were good as well.

Glad you enjoyed Tacocina. I've been back a couple of times and had the same experience. The tacos are definitely my favorites. I have yet to try all of the tacos but I'm working my way through the menu.

I am so happy to hear this news. We did finally go to Los Hornitos Bakery, in the same plaza where Tacocina used to be. It is run by a Chilean family I had a huge, delicious meaty, Cuban sandwich and a wonderful slice of tres leches cake with strawberries. Lot of other interesting things on the menu.

I love Los Hornitos! Their Cuban sandwiches are delicious. I've gotten their pastries/cookies a few times also, and enjoyed those as well.

I thought it closed down too! Now it's even closer to where I live, I will have to check it out.
