Foie gras in Boston

Where is the best source for foie gras in the Boston area?

Call them to check, but I would be surprised if Formaggio in Cambridge or the South End couldn't help you. Everything they sell is top notch quality.

I've seen some beautiful whole lobes at the Butcher Shop on Tremont. I'm sure you pay a premium but their standards are high. I'd call in advance to make sure it's in stock.

I buy it at Savenor's. They often have small portions for sale, as well as offering an entire lobe (which is very 'spensive!!).

I buy it at at Savenor's. They offer it in smaller portions as well as whole lobes. Usually A or B Grade

Specialty Foods in Newmarket is great if you're buying in larger quantity; whole lobes...also A or B.
