Does anyone know of a place where I can get this in Vancouver? I've tried googling it, but all I get are recipes - and I'm not so sure any medovnik I end up making will be edible!
If you do find it, please post back! Sounds delicious.
Edit: look what I found: http://www.langleymuseum.org/whats_on...
thanks! I came across this as well, but I was hoping for more instant gratification ;)
I would be surprised if you could find one. Medivnik is traditionally a Christmas cake.
If you want a good recipe that is pretty failproof, try any of the ones in Savella Stechishin's "Traditional Ukrainian Cookery".
