Where to buy Lebanese garlic sauce? Westside or South Bay.
Is there a deli/grocer that sells Lebanese garlic sauce? I want to make some chicken pita sandwiches, but do not have any time to actually MAKE the sauce.
I work in West LA, but live in Harbor City...so anywhere between these two places would be ideal.
I thought about going to Zankou and picking some up, but it is out of my way. I may end up doing that though if there isn't any place closer.
Zankou on Sepulveda at Santa Monica is your best and tastiest bet, but Gaby's Late Night Cafe on Venice near Motor makes it and would no doubt sell you some. Zankou's is stronger, Gaby's milder.
Sunnin (Lebanese place in westwood) has spectacular garlic sauce. I'm pretty sure you can buy a big pint of it from them, too.

I picked some creamy garlic paste at whole foods on 3rd and Fairfax a while back.
Real close to Zankou.
