Is there a deli/grocer that sells Lebanese garlic sauce? I want to make some chicken pita sandwiches, but do not have any time to actually MAKE the sauce.

I work in West LA, but live in Harbor City...so anywhere between these two places would be ideal.

I thought about going to Zankou and picking some up, but it is out of my way. I may end up doing that though if there isn't any place closer.

TIA!

Zankou on Sepulveda at Santa Monica is your best and tastiest bet, but Gaby's Late Night Cafe on Venice near Motor makes it and would no doubt sell you some. Zankou's is stronger, Gaby's milder.

Thanks for this rec! I had no idea that they had a MB location either. I love their Belmont location, it's one of my favorite restaurants! I ended up going there and getting some their amazing garlic sauce. Cute place.

Thanks again!

Have you tried either the Tehran Market, on Wilshire btwn 14th & 15th in Santa Monica?

Or I know a few Persian markets are along Westwood Blvd between Wilshire & Pico blvds in Westwood, perhaps they carry a similar product?

Good luck!
