Lobster, Crabs, Clams, Fresh Fish in a relaxed environment?

Taking a client out tomorrow night , looking for a high end fish place with a lively atmosphere. Any suggestions? I have been to Milos and Avra. Liked both of them. Used to go to Docs, but that felt tired the last time I was there. Client mentioned Blue Water Grill on 16th Street, but I have not been there in 8 years.

Would appreciate help.

Thanks.

Second the Aquagrill rec especially if your client is a lover of Oysters, no one beats their selection/quality.

Aquagrill is a good choice but if the client mentioned Blue Water Grill he might like Lure better.

ugh, blue water grill is aweful. please do not go there. aquagrill was the first place that popped into my head as well. i didn't have a good experience at lure so i wouldn't be able to recommend it but maybe it was just me.

Another vote for Aquagrill. Fun place for drinks and raw bar. Might even be nice to sit outside.

        2. Aquagrill for me as well. I've never been for dinner, only lunch, so others might have more thoughts on how lively it is at night.

          1. What about BLT fish downstairs. Casual, fun and great food.

            1. Acquagrill. Quality assured, but can get loud in there.

Had lunch at Aquagrill a couple of weeks ago even though I think the place has sort of become a tourist trap. Decided to treat myself to the "Maine Lobster Sandwich" to the tune of $26. I should have sent it back when it came out, it was the most meager amount of chewy lobster meat on a small roll and a handful of lukewarm limp fries. Pathetic. Can't recommend the place.

Well I don't think there is a restaurant that exists that given time and enough people there won't be at least a couple less than great experiences but doing a quick survey of the comments here I'd still say the positives outweigh the negatives. A shame you had a bad meal there.
