fig cake, maybe?

Hi, I am wondering if anyone knows who makes a fig cake (or something similar to this).
My friend's birthday is coming soon and he loves fig. I would like to get something with fig for his birthday cake. But, I don't even know if there is such a thing.

If so, could anyone please tell me where I can buy it ?

Thanks.

Pretty sure Russo's has one as well, atop the cheeses that are not in the refrigerated case.

Athan's has Figo: fig mousse + chocolate genoise.
I find it sweet but your friend might like it?

Whole Foods has fig jam and a fig cake that complements cheese. Very tasty!

Try Formaggio, I believe they have fig cake (although not freshly baked). Or get him a half-bottle of Don PX Gran Riserva sherry (1979 may still be around, try Martignettis in Brighton) which is quite reminiscent of fig although there is none in it

If you are referring to what I'm thinking of, it's like apressed cake, not birthday type.

the OP just said "something with fig for his birthday cake", not "birthday type cake with fig"...but i think you're right that it's pressed
