Stopped by there yesterday, and the space is gutted. Are they remodeling, or is something new going in there?
Yeah, the owner has to do a few years in the slammer, unfortunately (I loved their subs).
But there's a new cheese shop (called The Cheese Shop I think) on Fleet Street where Tutto Italiano's used to be.
Thats where a sign on the door of Purity said they were moving.
the owner, "the cheeseman," is in jail and the place was seriously in the red.
That's right - I forgot about that. That's too bad, I remember their fresh mozzarella being really great. Hopefully the bad smell isn't emanating from something under the floorboards that may have been on the losing end of an argument.
Went by this AM. There's a Building Permit calling for the dismantlng of the shop and cites an awful smell..cost $18,000
They are supposedly moving, but I forget where.
