Will be in Boston for labor day weekend with my family, all 10 of us. Looking for some recommendations in the North End. Antico Forno is our usual place but thought we might try something new. Any suggestions?

Try Al Dente On Salem Street. I've always had a good meal here. For an app get the eggplant rollantini. It's baby eggpalnt rolled and stuffed with fresh ricotta. Baked and topped with mozzarella cheese and a very good marina sauce. They have homemade pastas. Try them with the bolognese sauce. It's a lot more touristy but i like Giacomos on Hanover street. If you like mussels they make a great dish using there giacomos sauce. They have very good pasta dishes. The make a butternut squash ravioli that is wonderful. When rachel ray was here she loved the pumpkin tortellini.
