Bia Garden - Who's been?

This place just opened on the LES. Very interested if anyone has checked it out yet? I plan on hitting in the next week but would like some pointers.

Kinda hard to go when it's not open :( we tried yesterday and the gates were down.

Still? I walked by there Thursday night and overheard one person telling another (employee telling passerby?) that it was "definitely going to be open tomorrow night." Which means it should have opened Friday.

I just called and the man on the phone said they were open. We are planning for Thursday and he said they will be open 6-12. They were not taking any more reservations but they had plenty of room for walk-ins. Not having been there I can't tell you what that actually means.

Monday they were probably closed as some restaurants are. The opening of this place has been sketchy with several false starts. But the pull of packs beer, viet food on a cart, and beer garden is too much to pass up.
