I am going to be in Somerset, NJ for a meeting and would like some advice for a lunch place and a dinner place. Any cuisine is fine; moderate prices, please. I would like to stay within a 1/2 hour's ride from Somerset. Thanks.

Rockpile, Somerset is actually central NJ so keep that in mind. My initial reaction is that you should either go to Edison for Indian food or to New Brunswick--but it depends on what kind of food/$ you're looking for! Tell us more...

Rockpile, Somerset is really in central NJ, not the north. Your best bet is to do a search for places in Somerset, then repeat the search using New Brunswick. New Brunswick has some wonderful inexpensive restaurants and is only 10-15 minutes from Somerset.
