Meals at Midway Airport

Hello Chicago hounds (or regular travelers). I'll be passing through Midway Airport twice soon and wanted to get some advice. I unfortunately won't have time to leave the airport to eat. I know airport food is never the best but have heard that there are some decent options at Midway. The first pass will be at lunch time and I've pretty much decided on a Chicago hot dog; my question is Gold Coast Hot Dog or Superdawg? The return stopover will be at dinner time. I'd like a decent sit down meal, not fast food and am open to any suggestions. Thanks.

  1. The Chinese place at Midway was good/safe. Not spectacular, but hit the spot for me. I had a thin noodle dish with a light brown sauce and veggies and some tasty veg egg rolls. I brought a beer from the nearby bar and sat at a table between the two. I cannot remember the names of these two places, they were in the food court just past the security check and at the time there was only one Chinese spot there. This was last summer. Don't know about the dog.
