Crema di Pistacchio

My local trattoria used to sell this product,but has since stopped. I guess I was the only one purchasing it. Does anyone know where I can pick some up?

    1. I bought some recently in Ste Jovite (Mont Tremblant) at a store called Entrepot Gourmet.

      What do you do with it? I used it to flavour some pistachio madeleines, but it kinda got lost, and is quite expensive - $13 for a small jar.

        Besides on it's own... on a spoon?

        As a topping for toast, ice cream, etc.

          I find it way too sweet on its own, or even on ice cream. I may try using it to make pistacho ice cream (less sugar in the ice cream).

      2. While we are at it, has anyone seen pistachio marzipan in the Montreal area? I bought some in Napa at Dean and Deluca, but it's kinda far to go for marzipan...yes, I do know about D&D in NYC and D.C.
