Nothing too over the top. Looking for really good food. We lived in Santa Fe years ago. So, we developed quite a taste for great New Mexican food. But, open to anything that will provide us with a great meal while not being rushed in a comfortable atmosphere.

Cafe Elote at the King's Ransom Hotel is a must. Chef Jeff Smedstad's take on regional Mexican fare is outstanding. The atmosphere is casual, and great views can be had from the patio. I just read the restaurant is closed from Sept. 1-8, though, www.elotecafe.com.

Rene at Tlaquepaque. It's a great French place. Took hubby there for his birthday. He loved it

If you go for dinner, make sure you get there to enjoy the red rock views.
